Currently, JSM Chat data is not pinned to the same region as JSM when data residency is turned on. When connecting JSM Chat to Slack or Microsoft Teams, the customer is warned that the data will only reside in the US.

This request is to have the JSM Chat (Assist) data be pinned to the same region as JSM.
