Problem Statement
Currently Opsgenie StandAlone and OG/JSM support Bidirectional integration with Slack and Microsoft Teams as part of incident communication it's capabilities. Customers that have standardized on Webex for collaboration would like to include Webex Messaging as an Out of the Box OpsGenie integration that would allow Bidirectional incident comms.
Suggest Solution
using existing Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations as a model provide the same level of functionality for customers using Webex Messaging. From webex messaging an OG incident responder should have the ability to acknowledge, un-acknowledge, and close alerts from within the webex messaging application. Other common tasks such as Assignment, Take Ownership, snooze, and add note should also be available in the webex messaging interface.
Why this is important
Not all organizations have standardized on Microsoft Teams and Slack as their collaboration platforms. Organizations both Large and Small use Webex Messaging to collaborate and coordinate their incident response process.
