Issue

Assets (formerly Insight) allows Schema configurations to control which users and groups have access to the application and how they can interact with it by using roles (further information on roles and permissions can be found here).

Users may wish to programmatically retrieve the information to identify the groups and users and their role from Schemas using the REST API, however routes and methods are not currently documented.

The ask

Either create a dedicated endpoint to update schema roles or retrieve the data in a public endpoint that would show the Schema roles and the users and groups which belong to it or document any existing routes and endpoints that may exist to open up this opportunity for developers.
