It would be great if it is possible to sync Jira change calendar with Microsoft Outlook

      Benefits

This will allow users to see the Jira change calendar from Microsoft Outlook without switching apps as the user might be spending more time on Microsoft Outlook and miss out on the important details in the Jira change calendar

I wanted to share a workaround to this that our team found. Confluence has the ability to create a calendar type that is synced with Jira issues (from a JQL) using date field(s) that you specify. From there, you can subscribe to that Confluence calendar to your Outlook, Google Calendar, etc.

In our experience, the sync is rather slow (30min-1 hour), but otherwise it works. It seems like not a lot of work has been put into that feature since it was released.

We would love a direct integration with the Jira Change calendar (and to be honest, all calendar views across Jira), but this is the best we have right now and it works, albeit with a little elbow grease to get it set up.

Add Jira events (Confluence) Subscribe with one-way synchronization (iCal)

This is essential before we start using the change calendar

I was just talking about this option with my boss.  Its counter productive to have to look at this calendar in a seperate place from every other calendar.  Why this isn't already enabled baffles me.

+1 this would be super useful, it would allow reminders outside of the change management calendar window
