Issue Summary
Automation rule with Approval completed trigger doesn't fire when issues are approved/declined via email button by portal only customers or by the unlicensed Jira users.
Rule fires when the issue is approved/declined from the portal by the same portal only.
If licensed Jira users approve/decline via email button then the rule fires.
Steps to Reproduce
- On the JSM project set up a workflow with approval.
- Under customer notification > Approval required option "Approvers can use 'Approve' and 'Decline' buttons without being signed in" is selected.
- Setup A4J rule, with trigger Approval completed with any action.
- Create a new issue and set the approval as portal customers.
- Transitions the issue to an approval stage of its workflow.
- Approval should receive an email notification. Now approve/decline the request from the 'Approve' or 'Decline' button within the email.
Expected Results
- The rule should fire.
Actual Results
- The rule doesn't fire.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behaviour. A workaround will be added here when available.
