Issue Summary
As a Jira Service Management administrator, when the Customers can access and send requests from the portal without logging in option is checked, it enables Anoymous access in Confluence if the portal shows articles from Confluence.
When enabling this option in JSM, the global permissions in Confluence are intermittently changed. Sometimes, it changes the Global permissions while in others it does not work.
Steps to Reproduce
- Make sure to have a Service project integrated with Confluence and at least a page created to be displayed in the customer portal.
- As an administrator of Jira Service Management, tap the gear icon at the top-right and select Products
- On the sidebar, select Customer access
- Select the Allow customers to create accounts and check the Customers can access and send requests from the portal without logging in option.
- As an administrator of Confluence, tap the gear icon at the top-right
- Select Global Permissions and check the Anonymous access tab.
Expected Results
The Anonymous access under Confluence's Global permission should have the access enabled.
Actual Results
The access is enabled intermittently or in some cases, it does not work at all.
Workaround
Manually enable the Anonymous access in Confluence after chancing the customer access permissions.
