      Summary

Request for the ability to customize the setup of Approval Notifications, within emails and within the Issue View.

      Example-1

For example, as Statuses can be renamed to anything you would like, we should have the ability to rename the approve/ decline buttons on those notifications as well. This would allow for transition-to statuses to match the "approve/decline" button status names.

      Example-2

Allow for variables to be inserted to include attachments or comment information in the approval required customer notification. This would help in scenarios where the approver wants to view the attachment from the email but is required to login (even with the attachment security set to allow download attachments without logging in).

[JSDCLOUD-11054] Ability to customize Approval Notifications

This is a MUST HAVE for us as well.  In a standard Human Resources project, you'd have several different workflows for hiring, onboarding, compensation, personnel changes, etc. and each of these may have Approval steps.  But for each them, I would like to use the Approval Notification and include specific data in the email template so that my managers do not have to login to review data and approve.

As it currently works, I cannot do this in a single HR project.  I need separate projects for each of these HR processes, so that I can give them the critical data at their fingertips.  If I want to make the Approval process easy for my executives, which is HIGHLY important as you can imagine, then we need to be able to have Approval Notification per Issue Type and be able to customize that email.

OR, perhaps a quicker solution is to provide the ability to include the Approve/Decline buttons on a custom email via Automation.  That would suffice as well for the time being.

            A plus...

I would like also be able to customize approval/denied by e-mail.

We just can send buttons to approve or denied.

            I have a similar problem.
I need to customize the approval/denial screen with other fields for the user to fill in. Especially when the user denied the request.

In my opinion, allowing customization of this screen is a very important issue that should be taken into consideration by the Jira developers.
