Allow Administrators to set the default view for an Object Type for all users

      Problem description

By default, in column view, Assets displays only the Key, Name, Created and Updated fields. It would be useful if administrators could change the default columns in the columns view so that users see more useful fields in the first instance. It would be good if these defaults could be configured on an Object Type.

I would also like to know about the resolution. This is a basic option that changes every-day work for the whole team.

This behavior continues to cause problems for all of us who use Assets. This problem is getting bigger as you have more types of objects. When will Atlassian give us a solution?

First impressions are very important when introducing a new tool to users, and when you have to explain them they have to customize the view in a certain way, and then tell them they have to do it on every browser, and also when you log out and back in to Jira, it gives a very bad first impression. Which is unfortunate because I like having our assets in the same environment as the service desk and other projects.

Please add the feature of being able to save a certain view.

Due to this missing functionality, we have decided against using the Jira for asset management

            Hi Jira Service Management team,

I am writing to express a concern that has been quite frustrating for us. Every time we need to present data, we end up spending 5 to 10 minutes setting up a view to display rows and columns.

It would be immensely appreciated if you could develop a feature to streamline this process and make it more efficient. Your prompt attention to this matter would greatly enhance our productivity and user experience.

This is a basic requirement. Assets should not have been released to Atlassian customers with this defect, it needs to be fixed ASAP.

This is extremely important feature to improve adoption of the service desk and asset management.

Staff keep going back to their old spreadsheets because this view does not properly work.
