Description
Issue Summary
Emails containing some text inside a
HTML tag will render the text in one line, even though the text might contain multiple lines. This only applies to preformatted text that does not contain HTML formatting inside the
tag.
Steps to Reproduce
- Send an email containing text inside a
HTML tag to the Jira Service Management Mail Handler.
Expected Results
Text inside a
tag should be shown as it is in the email received by Jira, no matter if the text contains HTML formatting or not.
Actual Results
The text inside the
tag is added to a single line.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
