      Update May 2025

Hi everyone - unfortunately kicking this off was delayed, but is now tentatively back in our roadmap for the next 6-12 months. While we don't have exact dates yet, we understand its importance and will keep you updated on our progress.

      Thanks,

      Sam

      Problem Definition
Note - the component field is required on this form, but there wasn't a matching component. This is about ProForma/Foms, not Insight.

Using ProForma(now Forms) has been great for creating forms with dynamic fields.

Unfortunately, unless we map every ProForma field to a Jira field, they are not searchable.

Example:  A new server request uses ProForma fields, in which server names are entered.  Someone wants to search for a request based on the server name.  Since it's not linked to a Jira field, it is not possible.

Now that Atlassian owns ProForma, I'm hoping there can be a fix for this.
