Currently, if a reporter with an external email address directly reports into the system, that email address is entered as the reporter.
But, if someone internal to the system creates a ticket on behalf of an external reporter, there is apparently no way to make that external reporter's email address the reporter in the ticket.
Moreover, neither can external email addresses be added to the "request participants" field.
This situation is suboptimal.
