Custom user picker field changes are not registered

      Issue Summary

      If you remove a user from a custom user picker field with the backspace/delete key or by clicking on the X, the removal will not be registered.
      The same behavior is happening to the Raise this request on behalf of field.

      Steps to Reproduce

      Expected Results

      The user picker field changes are applied.

      Actual Results

      The user picker field changes are not applied.

      Workaround

      If you specify a different user with "@UserNameHere" then clear it the edit(cleared field) does get saved.
