Issue Summary

Cells copied from a spreadsheet get converted into an image when pasted in the JSM portal.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Add the Attachment and Description fields to the Request form
2. Open the customer portal > Go to create a new request
3. Copy a table from a spreadsheet (i.e. from Excel)
4. Paste this table in the Description field

Expected Results

JIRA should paste the table within the Description field.

Actual Results

JIRA is attaching the table as an attachment (image).

Workaround

There are two possible workarounds:
1. Copy the table > Paste it into a text editor > Copy it from the text editor and then paste it into the Description field in the portal
2. If you are using Chrome, you can use the following combination to paste without formatting:

• On Windows: Ctrl + Shift + V
• On Mac: Command + Shift + V
