Thanks very much for your input on this suggestion. It is our intention to make templates available and we are currently investigating how and when we go about this.

I'll provide further updates as this is scheduled in our roadmap.

Having to create all the objects manually is very time consuming and is error prone.

Objects templates is a basic feature of an Asset Manager, I don't get why it's not already included.

In Is there a template for Insight Cloud?, Charlotte Nicolaou from Atlassian Team acknowledges that currently, there isn’t a pre-built template for Insight in Jira Service Management Cloud but please be assured it is on their radar.
It would be nice to know when Atlassian plans to add this feature. It's just in the radar, o its already on its roadmap? I know back then when Insight was a Mindville plugin, they already had plans to de so, but two years later, here we are...
