Insight - Importing assets from SCCM

We are new to Jira. We just started with JSM cloud premium, and we are struggling to find any relevant information on how to start with integrated Insight version (due to its current limitations). I cannot find any information on the public facing roadmap about SCCM integration - an integration that should be logical for us since we are heavily using SCCM to manage our endpoints. I know this a top priority area, so why can't I find any information on this ?

As far as I know, another option would be to deploy Insight discovery agent on Windows devices, and then import reports to Insight; but again I cannot find any documentation on how to achieve this (I may be wrong, bt I believe documenttino is focused on the network scanner version of the tool, not the locally installed service version)

Another option could also be to develop custom integration using the newly developped REST API, but is it worth it ? I mean, we have the technical resources to do this, but what if SCCM integration is made available in the next coming months...

Could you please help me decide what is my best option to start with Insight in this context ?
