      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Server. Using JIRA Service Desk Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Currently, the only way to provide Service Desk Customers with plaintext email notifications is by setting a system-wide default, affecting all users in JIRA.

      Desired Functionality
      Ability to change notification preferences for Service Desk Customers between plaintext and HTML per Customer.
