Currently we have two PostFunctions to use in a workflow: AssignToReporter and UpdateIssueField.
Would it be possible to add the more generic "AssignTo" PostFunction for which I could select a specific user to assign the issue to.
Currently we use the UpdateIssueField to set the AssignTo field, but this does not trigger the Assigned Event (see also JRA-5181).
We have a highly customized workflow and about 50% of the transitions automatically assign the issue to a specific user who is responsible for the next phase. I would like the assignees to be notified of these transitions.
Currently only the Updated Event is triggered. If I use that one to notify people they get the wrong email text.
