Notifications associated with "Issue Commented" (under "Edit Notifications") does not work if the item has been Resolved. (see Detailed Description below)

    Description

      This is what I have noticed:

      ver 3.5.1:
      1. Notifications associated with "Issue Commented" **DOES** work (ie notifications are sent out correctly) only if comments are applied to a JIRA item that has not yet been Resolved.
      2. Notifications associated with "Issue Commented" **DOES NOT** work (ie notifications are NOT sent out at all) if comments are applied AFTER the JIRA item has been Resolved.

          Bug - A problem which impairs or prevents the functions of the product. JRASERVER-9415 When doing an edit issue or a bulk edit and only adding a comment an IssueUpdated event is not thrown

          Suggestion - JRASERVER-9489 Would be very beneficial if the PDF documentation that is released has on the first page a very clear reference to teh version of JIRA that it applies to (eg version 3.5.1, etc, etc, etc)
