Jira Dashboard Rich Text Gadget Rendering Issue with Multiple Gadgets

      Dear Customers,

      Thank you for reporting this issue. We have been working hard on fixing it.

      Summary of the problem:

      Rich Text Editor gadget would incorrectly put its content into another instance of the same gadget type, when dashboard had multiple RTE gadgets.

      New behaviour after the change:

      Every RTE gadget will no longer misplace its own content and will behave as expected, where content belonging to one of gadget instances won't "bleed" into other instances of RTE gadget.

      Status of the fix and Fix Version:

      The fix is ready, and we’re moving the status of this ticket to Waiting for release with Fix Version 10.3.8, 10.7.0 and 11.0.0.

      This is reproducible on Data Center: YES

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Install any Jira version 9.17 or later.
      2. Navigate to any dashboard.
      3. Add multiple Rich Text gadgets with different text content in their bodies.
      4. Attempt to interact with the gadgets by double-clicking the gadget bar, moving positions, expanding/minimizing, etc.
      5. Observe the random malfunctioning behavior, where text content fails to render correctly.

      Expected Results

      Each Rich Text gadget should display its respective content independently and correctly without interference from other gadgets.

      Actual Results

      The rendering of the Rich Text gadgets malfunctions, leading to the first gadget potentially being overlaid with the second gadget's information.

      The behavior is random, and gadgets may fail to render the text.

      Workaround

      Limit 1 Rich Text Gadget per Dashboard
