Issue Summary

This is reproducible on the Data Center: yes 

Steps to Reproduce

1. Environment preparation:
   • Create a custom field: Select List cascading -> For this test the name is "Deal group Test"
   • Add the next value: "Īpašuma, Personu un CTA darījumu grupa" as a parent option
   • Add some random child options.
   • Create a few tickets with this option.
2. Issue replication:
   • Go to the Search:
   • Click on Advanced Search:
   • create the JQL:

     "Deal group Test" = "Īpašuma, Personu un CTA darījumu grupa"

Expected Results

• The search brings some data.
•  This result is happening on JSM 5.15.2, 5.12.18 (Latest LTS), 10.3.3 (Latest LTS)

Actual Results

On version 5.17.5:

• Jira reports that the value you are looking for is not an option
•
