      Issue Summary

Proper execution of actions introduced by 3rd-party plugins might require additional permission for the rule's actor user accounts.

For example, ScriptRunner's "Execute a ScriptRunner Script" would require Jira administrators global permission (Managing global permissions) granted to A4J actor user account.

Due to different mechanisms that might be involved in error handling in the case of third-party functionality (for example, JIRAAUTOSERVER-1029 and JIRAAUTOSERVER-1030), the failure message for failed rules does not always clearly point to the lack of the required permission, making troubleshooting the appropriate issue difficult.

      Suggested Solution

It would be beneficial to add a note to our documentation (for example at Jira automation actions under Third party actions chapter) a reference regarding the requirement to have Jira administrators global permission granted to actor users in case rule is expected to execute external scripts.
