Issue Summary
This is reproducible on Data Center: yes
The Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) requires an update during the pre-flight checks before a migration is possible. However, upgrading the app needs to be done manually by uploading a jar file.
Steps to Reproduce
- Install Jira Service Management server v 5.4.8.
- Go to Administration > Manage apps.
- Select Manage apps.
- Filter by 'System' and Search for Jira Cloud Migration Assistant.
Expected Results
It's possible to select the 'Update' button.
Actual Results
It's not possible to select the 'Update' button. Only the 'disable' button is shown.
The below warning is thrown in the atlassian-jira.log file:
/rest/plugins/1.0/installed-marketplace [c.a.upm.pac.PacClientImpl] The request to check for app updates may take longer than expected because 230 apps are installed that could have updates. This may impact the performance of loading the Manage Apps page.
Workaround
- Install the latest or specific JCMA version manually from Jira Cloud Migration Assistant.
- Upload the jar file by following Updating apps by file upload.
