Description
Description
The Fix Version dropdown gets cleared out in the issue search page if the conditions below are met:
- there are more than 100 versions in the project
- a version that was outside the first 100 result was selected in the "Fix version" dropdown
Steps to replicate
- Create a new Jira project
- Add more than 100 versions to this project
- Go to the issue search page and add the "Fix version" filter
- Scroll all the way down, and notice the message saying "X more options. Continue typing to refine further"
- Search for a version that was not part of the first 100th result, and which is missing from the dropdown list, and tick it
- Close the "Fix version" dropdown list, reopen it, and notice that the version is not showing in the list of "ticked versions" (even though we ticked it), although this version is highlighted:
- Add a new issue type to the "Issue Type" dropdown
- Take a look at the "Fix Version" dropdown
Expected result
The version that was ticked earlier should still be ticked
Actual behavior
The version ticked earlier got automatically un-ticked/un-selected and now the "Fix Version" dropdown is showing "All":
Environment Note
- This issue is replicable in Jira 9.4.x
- This issue is not replicable in Jira 8.20.x since in that version, more than 100 versions can be listed in the dropdown:
Workaround
The only known workaround is to switched to the advanced search mode and to manually enter the list of versions there:
