Description
Issue Summary
the focus is not set onto the "Issue Kab-21 - test issue has been successfully created." success message (that appears on activating the "Create" button in the "create issue" modal dialog) when the issue is created.
Note: this issue is applicable for all kind of notifications which appears throughout the Jira
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate onto "Create issue" modal.
- Create an issue by filling the details and activating the "Create" button.
- Observe that focus is not moved onto the success message.
- Observe that the success message is not announced.
- Observe that the update will not otherwise be immediately obvious to all users.
Actual Results
When the "Create" button is activated in the "Create issue" modal, a success message gets added on the page. However, the focus remains on the "Create issue"link instead of moving onto the newly added success message. This illogical focus order might make the page difficult to understand for the keyboard and screen reader users.
Expected Results
Make sure that the focus is managed appropriately when the page is updated. Make sure that when the user activates the "Create" buttons, the focus goes onto the newly added success message. This can be done with tabindex=”-1” or the “focus” method. This will allow elements to receive programmatic focus when they are not naturally in the focus order.
