Have the ability to define a filter and specify what values the user should be queried for at run-time.

E.g. Have a filter that retreives all Unresolved issues for a user. When a person selects this filter, they prompted to select a user to run the filter for. Once this is entered teh filter is run with this value.

E.g. 2
Assigned issues to me for a project. When a user selects this filter, they are prompted for a project to run this against. Once the project is entered, the filter is run against that project.

You should be able to enter multiple parameters to prompt for. E.g reporter and status

This would allow for more flexible filters and would provide a cleaner interface to the end user for common searches.
