Description
Issue Summary
From the Jira Edit Issue page, it is possible to open a User Picker pop-up for any multi-user picker field, to search for users.
If the number of users found in the search is higher than the number from Users per page, the results will be split into multiple pages.
When clicking on any page other than the 1st page, nothing happens, making it impossible to switch between pages to search for users not shown in the 1st page.
Notes
- The bug is replicable in any Jira 9.x version
- The bug is not replicable in Jira 8.x versions
- This bug also impacts the Group Picker page (in addition to impacting the User Picker page)
Steps to replicate
- Install Jira 9.4.0
- Create more than 20 users in ⚙ > User Management > Users
- Add a multi user picker field to any Jira Edit issue screen
- Create a new issue that is using the screen modified in the previous step
- Click on the Edit button from the View Issue screen
- From the Edit Issue screen, click on the User Icon next to the multiuser picker field
- You will be redirected to a popup, allowing you to search for users, scan through result pages, etc... The Users per page setting should be set to 20 by default
- Try to click on the 2nd page
Expected Results
The results from the 2nd page should be displayed
Actual Results
Nothing happens when clicking on the 2nd page:
The following error is thrown in the browser console:
Uncaught ReferenceError: moveToPage is not defined at <anonymous>:1:1
Workaround
- Try to narrow the the search results by entering the name of the user you are looking for
- If that does not help, try to increase the Users per page setting to show more results per page
