      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Customers with Jira Data center server in place and using "Batching Email Notifications", require having a “{user} mentioned you on {issue.key}“ email subject whenever you’re mentioned helps the person receiving locate the email. 

      This feature is available in the Cloud environment.

      They rely on the "x mentioned you" to filter incoming email using inbox rules.

      The solution provided in the previous related suggestion ticket# https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-37777  , all emails resulting from a mention will contain the words "mentioned you" but not in the Subject line.
