Issue Summary

The description of reporter in ticket will show  <p> HTML tags, when setting a description for reporter field.

Steps to Reproduce

1. JIRA ADMINISTRATION > Issues > Field configurations > Default Field Configuration > Configure
2. Find Reporter and Edit
3. Set Description as "reporter description"
4. Create a ticket, and check the description of Reporter.

Expected Results

Showing as "reporter description" in the description of Reporter.

Actual Results

HTML tags are included into description, as below.

<p>reporter description</p>

Workaround

• System > General configuration > Edit Settings
• Turn on "Enable HTML in field descriptions and list item values"
