A few of our teams use kanban boards to track Epics and have requested it be possible to change the colour of an epic from the kanban board much like changing it from a sprint board backlog (as shown in this image).

 

The workaround we currently have is to do a bulk change and edit the epic colour however, this has its flaws as the user needs to be aware of the names for different epic colours e.g. "ghx-label-4".

For this reason we also have removed the ability to edit the epic colour field from our screens.

We would like the epics panel added to kanban boards as well to grant users more flexibility to easily change the colour of their epics and visually see what colour they are changing to.

Implementing JSWSERVER-15793 (adding a colour panel to choose from) would also solve our problem if it was available when changing the epic colour field.
