Issue Summary
When selecting an option through any sort of dropdown menu (combo boxes, date pickers), the option that is chosen by the user is not read out by a voice assistant utility if enabled.
This prevents (or at least makes it very hard) creating issues by visually impaired people, as they can't reliably change issue types, projects, priorities, etc.
Steps to Reproduce
- Enable Voice Over (or any other assistive technologies that provide announcements).
- Click Create to create a new issue.
- Tab to the Projects or Issue Types drop-down menu.
- Select an option using the UP and DOWN arrows, then click enter to confirm the choice.
Expected Results
The option chosen will be read by the VA utility, confirming the choice to the user.
Actual Results
No feedback is given to the user through the VA utility.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
