Issue Summary
When using any sort of assistive technologies that generate announcements when scrolling through options (should as VoiceOver on Mac OS) on a drop-down menu, such as projects and issue types in the Quick Create menu, the options will not be read as expected.
This prevents (or at least makes it very hard) creating issues by visually impaired people, as they can't reliably change issue types, projects, priorities, etc.
Steps to Reproduce
- Enable Voice Over (or any other assistive technologies that provide announcements).
- Click Create to create a new issue.
- Tab to the Projects or Issue Types drop-down menu.
- Use the up and down keys on the keyboard to cycle through the options on the menu.
Expected Results
Every option will be read out by the voice-over assistant.
Actual Results
Options are not read when you cycle through them.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
