To hide the global roles from projects, Allow roles to be project specific

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

There are 50+ Roles in my Jira and I want the project administrator to see only the project-specific roles, as it creates real havoc for the project administrator to go through all the roles while adding a user to the role. Also, I want to maintain other Project Role's privacy.

      Thanks and Regards,

            I like the Idea.

Maybe the project roles could be connected to the permission scheme of the project. Only project roles with a permission granted in scheme should be available for the admin to add useres to it.

How would you configure the project roles that are used in a specific project?
