Issue Summary
If an Admin provided "Add Editors" in a dashboard to a group (Eg: test Group) and provided the same permission to a single user (Eg: Test User), if the Test User does not belong to Test Group, the user will not be able to edit the dashboard.
Environment
- Jira 7.13.X
- Jira 8.2.X
Steps to Reproduce
- Edit a dashboard sharing configuration and provide "Add Editors" permission to a group and a single user.
- Ensure that the single user does not belong to the group.
- Login as the single user and check if you can edit the dashboard.
Expected Results
The single user is able to edit the dashboard including the gadget.
Actual Results
The single user is unable to edit the dashboard including the gadget.
Workaround
- Add the user to the group which given the edit dashboard permission.
- Add a project where the user belongs to. This will allow the admin to set a role which the user belongs to.
