Also seeing this in Jira v8.22.6 installed on Ubuntu 20.04.5, PSQL 11.17 verified in Chrome version 108.0.5359.72 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 10 Business.

Upvote from me!  I find that this bug combined with https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-72713 makes editing of long tickets very clumsy.  Please provide alternate hotkeys, especially for SHIFT-CTRL-B

Nice, thanks Petr, that's a win! Just want to add (after experimenting) that for numbered lists you can start the first item with "1. " and it will be converted after Enter as well.

Still, if bullets and numbered lists would work on Mac Chrome with Ctrl-Shift-B and Ctrl-Shift-N (not Command-Shift as Chrome is using those), it would work in more cases as expected, such as converting existing lines to such lists.

Using Jira is usually a joy, and I appreciate any attention to this for my new users.

Yes, I was using this shortcut a lot. Fortunately there is a nice workaround: You just start a new line with an asterisk, write the desired text and after hitting Enter you get the bullet list enabled.

Confirming this regression in 7.13.11. I'm surprised there's been so little interest in this bug - isn't everyone using bullet points to list scope, requirements, test scenarios, assumptions, etc. in the Description field? Is there something I'm missing!?
