Problem Definition
When adding an attachment via a screen that has both an attachment and comment field, the attachment is not automatically added as a comment. This is a little counter intuitive as people adding the attachment may expect it to appear on the comment.
Current Behavior
Steps to reproduce:
- Attach the default resolution screen to a workflow step.
- Add the "Attachment" field to the resolution screen.
- Transition the issue.
- The default resolution screen should appear. Add an attachment.
At the moment, the attachment is not automatically added as a comment as seen in image-2019-02-15-15-29-30-676.png![]()
Suggested Behavior
Make it so that after adding the attachment, it is included in the comment, as seen in image-2019-02-15-15-30-27-461.png![]()
Other notes
The observation of current behavior also applies to Service Desk projects (adding an internal or external comment).
