      The standard field Description does not appear in the list of fields for Bulk Edit. 

      https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracoreserver072/editing-multiple-issues-at-the-same-time-829092790.html does not mention this

      Scrolling to the Unavailable Actions does not show Description as a field either.

      The workaround is to use the Jira REST API to change the Description in multiple issues.
