PDF Rendering Error

Summary

With some PDF file, the rendering is incorrect. The PDF file may appear to be missing several contents (if not all) in the preview page from the attachment field. However, if the file is downloaded and viewed outside JIRA, it will appear normally. It seems to be relating on the JIRA Rendering Engine and the tools used for the PDF.

Note: On Confluence, the PDF preview thumbnail is rendered properly but the fullscreen render does not render properly.

Environment

JIRA 7.3.7, JIRA 7.7.1

Expected Results

The PDF is displayed normally

Actual Results

The PDF is displayed with missing contents

Workaround

Use PDF tools that are proven to not cause missing contents
