      Thank you for your votes and thoughts on this issue.

      After careful consideration, we've decided to prioritize adding support for Microsoft SQL Server 2017 on Jira Server roadmap. We hope to start development after our current projects are completed.

      Expect to hear an update on our progress within the next 6 months.

      To officially support Microsoft SQL Server 2017 as one of the Jira supported databases.

      Why this is important

      Jira should be supported against Generally Available releases of Databases that have been supported on previous versions.
