This is a so old ticket (14 years), that I wanted to try to create a new one.

Maybe that that will notify newer people and get triaged with more the most recent workflows (which - I can easily imagine - have evolved during the last decade).

So, yes, you can mark this as a duplicate of JRASERVER-1369

But please, ensure that there is still someone from Atlassian that is watching, and planning to add this task in the next roadmap(s) (for the current decade)
