      Unable to search for characters in between specifical characters like "-". Eg:

      Strings:

      PCB-SMAT-0087

      JQL query parameter: 

      description ~ "PCB*0087"

      Environment

      JIRA 6.4.7 & JIRA 7.3.6

      Expected Results

      JIRA does not shows result of issues with the characters in between special characters.

      Actual Results

      JIRA shows result of issues with the characters in between special characters.
