I went through the initial setup without any visible problems though the following was written to the console:

After the setup when i tried to login by accessing the /jira/ url i got this error:

500 Internal Server Error
Error parsing JSP page /jira/secure/views/dashboard.jsp

Error creating jsp-page instance: java.lang.ClassFormatError: __jspPage14_secure_views_dashboard_jsp (Code of a method longer than 65535 bytes)

On the same machine with the same config i have Orion 1.5.4 running which seems to run fine, so i guess the problem is 1.6.0 related. I dont know wethe ror not jira actually supports 1.6.0, so i just wanted to let you know, that it is not wrinkle free
