A user who is not logged in but attempts to go to various links is not given clear notice that they aren't logged in and it continues to cause confusion.

Even worse, going to a dashboard link will show the name of the dashboard, but all blank underneath causing the user to think JIRA is broken.  

Of course on the top right is "Log in", but it just feels a bit low rent with that behavior.

There are many many closed issues on this saying it won't be fixed.  Totally understand the need to cull the backlog, but perhaps just leaving one of these issues open for users to vote on?  Doesn't have to be this one – just point me to it.
