Provide an option how to link an image attachment in the description/comment

Please provide an option how to link existing image attachment (thumbnail or link) when using the editor button 'Attachments'.

Current situation:

• Attachments are enabled
• Thumbnail support is enabled.
• A ticket has one or more image attachments.

As a user I want to link the image attachment in a comment as a clickable link, not as thumbnail.

!image.png!

Currently, if the user clicks the Attachments button (in the editor and then on the desired image attachment, the wiki syntax for displaying the image as a thumbnail is being generated. However, I want to get the syntax for the clickable link.

In our current JIRA version 7.0.10 there is no setting to adjust that behaviour globally on a per project basis. Also I could not find any open issues or answers regarding this topic.
