New "External issue ID" field is created on each import

      It'd be better to offer an option to reuse a previously created field.

      Workaround

      The reason duplicate fields are created is that the External issue ID field is created with project specific context. To avoid this behavior, you can create a global context for one of those fields and delete any duplicates.
