Improve how JIRA handles Expired Evaluation Licenses

      Problem Definition

      Currently if you have an evaluation license for JIRA Core, JIRA Software, or JIRA Service Desk and it expires. It will disable activity for users that are associated with a valid commercial license.

      Suggested Solution

      • Disable only the functions relevant to the expired evaluation license.

      Why this is important

      • This can cause unnecessary customer friction and/or confusion for both admins and users who are associated with a valid license.

      Workaround 

      • Remove the expired evaluation license(s).
