            Hello,

Our DBA suggested running MS SQL 2016 in 2014 compatibility mode.  Has anyone tried that with latest JIRA?

We need to move our existing JIRA instance to a 2016 DB. We are also setting up a new instance of JIRA and this must be on 2016. We can't complete this new instance until 2016 is officially supported by Jira.

My company's Microsoft Partnership programme mandates that we must use the latest version within a year of release, so we have no option but to install on SQL 2016.

I'm sure other companies are going to run in to this issue soon enough and support would be greatly appreciated ASAP

We upgraded the database server hosting our JIRA database to SQL Server 2016 last week. I've only just realised it's not supported (I assumed it was as it's been out almost a year) however everything seems to be working OK so far.

DBA in our organization is moving towards MSSQL 2016, and want to have one version support for all DB servers. We need support for MSSQL 2016 at the earliest....can this be done at the earliest please.

Looking into https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/supported-platforms-802592168.html, I see that only MSSQL2012+14 are supported right now. We are currently using MSSQL2012 as DB for our JIRA instance but our DBAs told us that the end of MSSQL2012 regular support is in July this year and they are migrating all the databases to MSSQL2016 (skipped MSSQL2014). So we need JIRA to support MSSQL2016 as Database by May this year - is this possible?
