"Recently resolved" filter shows resolved issues that have been updated recently

The "Resolved recently" filter shows all resolved and closed issues that have been modified in the last week. This means that as well as showing all the bugs that have been resolved recently, it also shows all bugs that have been closed recently and all those resolved and closed issues that have been modified recently.

I need to generate a weekly report of issues that have been resolved this past week. Currently I use the "resolved recently" filter to get the possible set of issues that were actually resolved this week, but then I have to manually go through each issue to make sure that it was actually resolved this week.

It seems that the 'resolver' and 'resolved date' should be tracked by JIRA as fields that can then be used in a filter. This would allow the "Resolved recently" filter to show an accurate list of issues.
