As RTE user I want to add a comment after cancelling the previous one on the same page using IE11

      Summary

      Cannot use Visual tab (Text tab works) anymore after cancelling the previous comment on IE11.

      Environment

      • IE 11
      • JIRA 7.3+

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Go to an issue page
      2. Type a comment (Visual mode)
      3. Cancel it
      4. Try to type another comment

      Expected Results

      One can type the comment in the Visual tab, ie. characters are visible.

      Actual Results

      The content is not visible (blank/white space).

      Notes

      Only in JIRA 7.3.0, we can reproduce the issue without cancelling the previous comment. Typing a comment after adding a comment will get the same output.
       

      Workaround

      • refresh the page
      • switch to Text mode
