Creating a JIRA backup using Internet Explorer never presents the link to download the file

Summary

Creating a JIRA backup using Internet Explorer never presents the link with the create file to be downloaded, it's just stuck at the "Exporting data" message or "Please wait" message if the page is refreshed.

Environment

JIRA Cloud version 1000.586.0
Internet Explorer 11

Steps to Reproduce

1. Using Internet Explorer 11 go to JIRA administration > System > Backup manager
2. Click the Create backup for Cloud or Server buttons

Expected Results

After the contents are exported a link should be presented to download the backup file.

Actual Results

The page is stuck with the "Exporting files" message and if the page is refreshed the message changes to "Please wait" but the link to download the files never appears

Workaround

Using another modern browser like Firefox, Chrome or Edge, access the Backup Manager page and you should see the link to download the file there.
