NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.
Summary
When anonymous access is enabled on both JIRA and Confluence and a page is linked to a JIRA issue, the link to the page in JIRA will display You do not have permission to view this page.
Environment
- JIRA 1000.305.0
- Confluence 1000.260.0
- JIRA 6.4.13
- JIRA 7.2.3
- Confluence 5.10.4
Steps to Reproduce
- Have anonymous access enabled on both JIRA and Confluence. Page and issue are both available to anonymous users.
- Link the page to the JIRA issue.
Expected Results
Page title is displayed properly.
Actual Results
Following message is displayed instead of the page title: You do not have permission to view this page.
Clicking on the link will redirect you to the correct page which is indeed accessible.
Workaround
No workaround but the page is accessible anyway.
Notes
Logged in Jira user can see the proper name of the link and is properly redirected to Confluence after click-on.
